Training

Part of managing IP involves a top-down approach of setting and enforcing policies, putting systems in place to identify and protect IP, and having the specialised knowledge on tap when needed to do so. The other part is bottom-up: having stakeholders in the institution who can head off problems before they occur, and spot opportunities and issues which need to be escalated upwards.

I have over a decade of practical experience in IP law. In that time I have published dozens of articles and given numerous lectures, training seminars and workshops on various aspects of IP. I can assist in training and upskilling staff, students and management at a number of levels, from brief introductory lectures all the way to multi-day workshops on specific topics.
